Frequently Asked Questions

Who can use this service?

Anyone from seniors, busy parents, professionals and everyone in between. If you can’t get your to-do list done, then you definitely need this service.

Do I have to give you money before you shop for me?

No, unless you want to. We take care of the purchases and collect money later. When you book an appointment, you will be charged the fee for service, payment for merchandise is due upon delivery.

How do I schedule errands?

Call us to schedule an appointment, book your service of choice from our services page, or you can complete the contact us form and receive a callback to schedule an appointment.

Can I schedule multiple errands at once?

Yes, we are able to accommodate multiple errands at once.  Keep in mind there is a $10 fee for additional stores.  After 1 hour ends, it's $10 per 15 minute increment.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, all major credit cards which includes Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover. 

Payments from Venmo, Zelle, Paypal and Cash App are accepted.

Do you work on weekends?

Our hours are Monday - Friday, 6:30pm - 8:30pm. Saturday - Appointments Only and closed on Sunday.

Is there a cancellation fee?

Yes, any reservation not cancelled within 24 hours will receive a $20 cancellation fee.

​

What areas do you serve?

Currently, we service clients in White Plains, Waldorf and Brandywine.  Any errands outside of 20 miles will be accessed a fee of $.62 per mile.

Do I need to schedule in advance?

While we prefer at least a 24-hour notice for most errands in order to meet the needs of all of our customers, we understand that this is not always possible.  We will make every effort to accommodate same-day requests, so please don’t hesitate to call whenever you have a need.  Unfortunately, the 24 cancellation policy still stands with same day reservations.

Do you transport people or pets?

No, due to liabilities we do not transport clients or pets.

Are there errands that you will not do?

We will not engage in any illegal activities, cooking, pet sitting/walking, driving clients, or services which may endanger an employee.

What if I'm not happy with the service I received?

We will address your concern, we can give you a credit towards your next service or issue you a refund.

Refunds apply only to the fee for that service.

Any merchandise paid for by Silver Fox Errands on the client’s behalf, is the sole responsibility of the client.
